About the Artist
Craig Damrauer lives and works in New Orleans, where he creates things – and writes about things. His work focuses on simplifying complexity. In his well-known series New Math, he combines language with simple mathematical formulas, creating humorous definitions for topics in our increasingly complex modern world.

His work has been exhibited at MCA Denver and LA Contemporary Editions, among others. Articles about his art have also appeared in media such as the New York Times, The Atlantic, GOOD, and Anathema.
