Poison Flowers is a series of works by Dimitris Tzamouranis dedicated to the fascinating ambivalence of poisonous plants. Inspired by Paracelsus' famous maxim – "All things are poison, and nothing is without poison; only the dose makes a thing not a poison" – the artist explores the fine line between healing and destruction. The depicted plants possess a dual nature: in small doses they can be curative, but in higher concentrations they can be deadly.
