FLASHBACK – The Chronicle 2016–2026 documents the first ten years of the Hamburg cultural project EINE STADT WIRD BUNT. This extensive book traces the development from the initial research in 2016, through exhibitions, events, and publications, up to the major exhibition at the Museum for Hamburg History (2022–2024).
In addition to numerous background reports and interviews, the publication offers comprehensive insights into the emergence of a new culture of remembrance. Over 650 photographs, including previously unreleased images from the 1980s, vividly illustrate the project's history.
