SKŌUD - THE GUIDANCE Neuroessence

THE GUIDANCE is a Neuroessence – a scientifically developed fragrance composition at the intersection of perception, emotion, and well-being.

Developed by Hamburg cosmetic scientists Dr. Nini Nielson and Dr. Julia Mader, the composition combines neuroscientific research with olfactory design, understanding fragrance as more than an aesthetic accessory: as a medium between external perception and internal balance.

As a hybrid of a neuroactive essence and a molecule perfume, THE GUIDANCE was developed with the aim not only of appealing to the senses but also of positively supporting personal well-being. The developers describe this approach as "NAĒQA – Neuronally Activated Equanimity," inspired by the Buddhist concept of inner serenity.

The composition feels light yet present: water jasmine and iris root recall the freshness of seawater, while cashmere wood, amber, and musk add warm, earthy depth. The fragrance evokes the atmosphere of a tranquil coastal landscape – driftwood, salty air, and gentle waves.

The formulation is complemented by extracts of Nepalese pepper, whose special sensory properties are being researched in connection with the so-called brain-skin axis.
